Subject:XkK3 Hanging MIDI notes with controller.


Hello,
I've been using a Yamaha P-250 as the lower manual for my XK-3. When using the built in
physical ports on both units everything works. However, when using the P-250 USB
connection with my Mac G5 then USB to MOTU Fastlane and on to the XK3, I get stuck MIDI
notes cycling every third note. After striking the stuck note again it stops sounding. I'm
trying various patch-thru software, such as MIDI Pipe, MIDI Patchbay and MIDI Keys. These
programs work flawlessly with other MIDI hardware I have. I always turn off the local
control on both instruments and use the Rec templete. Is there some required MIDI
handshake or some timming trick I'm missing? Could pedal mode somehow effect it?
