I agree with everything you wrote. I have played my H-112 and A-100 with
reverb on through the Leslies, and to me it just sounds muddy. Personally,
I see the Leslie 147RV in my bedroom every morning when (and if) I wake up.
The Leslie reverb system was not of the high quality available by electronic
means today. But it sounded OK in its day.
