Hey Norm, here's the response I received from Tony. I asked him the
same thing!

"Great question!!!!!!!!! Well I did use a 122 xb and a Direct Line as
to recreate a fair comparison to how the XK can sound in a studio
session or live using a real Leslie. I was thinking of recording a
solo piece real soon just using the simulator and posting it as well
to answer your question fully!!!! It will definitely sound a little
different as up to now, I haven't found a simulator that simulates
moving air like the real spinning horn and rotor!!!
I like the simulator that's in the XK3, though! It sounded great at
the Cakewalk booth through speakers using just the XK3 and no Leslie
during NAMM!!!!!!!!!!"
