Yes, yes and yes. First off if you are a fan of Brian Auger's you'll enjoy seeing what a
gratious and beatiful person he is, this will give you an insight on why he is such an
outstanding and unique musician. We all know how blazingly fast his licks are and even
video at 30 frames per second (60 interlaced fields for you gear heads) cannot capture
some of his finger motion. Believe me because I've analyzed a section using a video
software equivalent of slow downer on PC. But most of the finger work can be figured out,
the rest is up to you, to try and play at even 1/2 of his speed would be a worthy goal.

Leo Bynum has done an outstanding job as producer, the chapters are well organized and
you can jump right a song, seeing both live and living room footage (including his cat at
his home in Venice, CA). Brian explains some theory but mostly you'll get it from watching
him play his truly individual style, great ideas for comping and of course fast jazz/rock
licks. Many insights from Brian on technique, style and attitude.

If you order from Brian's Website and ask him, he will most likely autograph your disk for
you, an extra bonus for your $50! Hopefully some of his magic, and spirit, might rub off
onto your playing style.
