I completely agree you could learn this all just by listening, but, you
wouldn't get the theory behind it. I like having him explain how he uses
theory to motivate what he's playing, because then I can use his take on
theory and apply it to my playing, and not just cop his licks.
But what the heck! It's Brian Auger, and he's just sittin' there, teaching
me how to play his stuff.
Cool that you met Leo, who seems to play OK himself....
