Subject:Re: Leslie switch
Hi Thomas (et al),
My "MIDI" plug-in half-moons use a special return-to-center switch. Pushing to either side changes the speed; however, the action is compatible with the classic half-moon: push it to the left when in Tremolo, Chorale is selected; push it to the right when in Chorale, Tremolo is selected. No new motor skills are necessary, and it allows using the D-beam or other onboard switch AND the half-moon, in an either-or setup. It also allows one to pre-program each preset with a different Leslie speed, since the R-T-C switch never sits in any one speed position. ;-)
I can also make them up with a standard 2-position switch, or a three-position switch.
Regards,
-BW
