I used to have a Lexicon MRC, which originally was
purchased to control parameters on a couple of older
Lexicon units with very limited/challenging front
panel control (LXP-1 and LXP-5). The MRC came with
templates to control various Lexicon, and even
'non-Lexicon' products. It also had a numeric keypad
on which MIDI program changes could be entered and
outputed to your MIDI device of choice.( I believe it
also did Bank changes: you'd want to confirm that...)
This may be one option you'll want to consider, as
I've occasionally seen MRC's on Ebay/Harmony Central,
etc...You might also find a review of the the unit
there or elsewhere on the 'net; try 'Googling' it...

BTW: As I recall, the VS. 2 software of the MRC
allowed the user to do rudimentary analog 'style'
filter and ADSR control on 6 operator FM synth's...But
the VS. 3 Software eliminated that feature.
