I have to agree that the "Spam Accusation" was a tad harsh.
To me spam is advertising on totally unrelated subjects....such
as.....well anything else under the sun!!!!
This is a nice offer aimed at a niche market. Surely "Everyday Billy-
Joe Bob" ain't gonna' pick this up down at the local 7-11....nor
would we get this information anywhere else in our highly superficial
world, so best to appreciate it for what it is....seemingly high
price or not.
Seems to me if the previous member in question doesn't like the
email, all he has to do is bypass it, but one should not be deterred
from speaking on subjects germaine to the group.
And if the fact that there's a price tag involved is what makes the
critical member in question feel that the announcement was
inappropriate, might I remind us all that people in niche markets
need to feed their families too?
Sometimes appreciation of the finer things in life (Hammonds are the
finer things in life), require a bit of shameless horn-tooting on the
part of the provider, and a few duckets spent by the rest of us.
No one ever said you had to buy the darn thing....one member is
merely telling us that the thing exists. No harm no foul!!!
