For anyone who is interested, last night I played a gig with the sub
I mentioned before.
So this was my setup:
Roland VK-77 going into the SR TECHNOLOGY SW 180/A, filtered outs
going into two small FBT active speakers.

I'm sure many of you are going to laugh at these small speakers, but
I am very happy about the setup.
This particular band was two saxophones organ and drums, jazz,
hardbop oriented.
So for my volume levels the sound was really good, left hand bass is
loud and clear through the sub, and the two small speakers sound fine.
Actually I never turned the volume knob of the speakers more than
halfway up! so I still had some power left.
If you think about it a 122 is only 40 watts, all tube and wood, but
still 40 watts..
I've played through many different PAs and speakers I found in clubs,
and that includes JBLs Mackies etc, and my setup was fine, even
compared to those. Of course this wouldn't apply at loud rock levels.
Then I went home at left my mini-PA in my car :-)
Of course when will buy a garage for my car I will buy a Leslie... one day...
