Subject:Re: Dumb Leslie 2101 ?s

The Hammond XE-1 can send other than organ sounds to the small
speakers in addition to it's organ sounds to the Leslie (horn and low
rotor sim) the additional sounds and the low rotor sim use the small
stationary speakers. The sounds that go to the stationary speakers
are also available at the 1/4" outputs. If you use only the 1/4"
input, the only thing available to you is the Leslie part. People
have made cable adapters using an 11 pin connector that would allow
the use of the stationary inputs in addition to the Leslie. I don't
remember which pins are used though. Someone also had an amp tech
figure out which pins on the 11 pin connector where the Aux. pins and
installed two 1/4" jacks wired to those lines in the 2101.

As a side note: The XK-3 has a three pin connector on the board with
all the outputs that is labeled "Aux In LGR". I have not traced it in
the service manual, but maybe it could be used as an input point.
