Hopefully an XK3 power user will elaborate on this, but to keep you
from pulling your hair out, I'd say this...

Hammond has always treated the drawbars differently than any other
mfg. of clones. While most companies use 1 Midi CC# per drawbar, and
divide the 0-127 tics evenly among the 0 possible drawbar settings
(0-8), Hammond has used far fewer CC#s, packing all the drawbars in a
grouping into one CC# (80,81,82 for upper,lower, and pedal
respectively) and all the 9 levels of all the drawbars use a chunk of
the same CC#. See appendix, P. 103 of the owners manual.

An outboard midi processor or midi yoke.OX may be able to unscramble this?
