I tried one for a few hours with my CX3. It was louder, but I didn't feel it
added any "warmth", nor did add any mellow type of distortion or make the
CX3's harsh digital distortion any more believeable. I returned mine. You
probably should try one for yourself. I bought it from somebody on line,
perhaps Musician's Friend?
