Just FYI...

I ordered a Speakeasy Stereo Vintage Preamp, with both the Barker and Keyboard add-ons.
It should be here by the end of the week.

After checking out a few other possible alternatives (like the Presonus BlueTube DP) I went
ahead and bit the bullet and laid out the cash for the Speakeasy.

I'll also be reviewing it for an upcoming issue of Electronic Musician magazine. During the
review process I will be creating some audio examples for the EM Web site. I will be sure to
create some A/B "before and after" examples in Clone mode with my CX-3 for those
interested. I will also do some for sampled piano, synths and samples in Keyboard mode.
