I have four B3's and have been playing them for over 35 years.. You do get
use to the XK3 shallow trigger...

Subject: [CWSG] xk-3 keyboard

I'm on the brink of getting one.
I spent a good chunk of time in Guitar Center playing this and a Nord
Electro.
I tend to concur with the general consensus, that the Electro has a better
sim (by far) but
the Xk-3 through a Leslie would be tough to beat.

The one thing that is really holding me up is how much better I like the
physical keyboard
on the Nord. Not sure it's more similar to my tonewheel Hammonds, but I
like it.
I have a problem with the shallowness of the note triggering on the Xk-3
vs. the depth of
the key. If feels weird to have the note trigger so quickly.

Has anyone else had this problem and gotten over it?
Something you get used to?
It just seemed like I had to play very deliberately to articulate certain
phrases.

BTW....the Nord has alot going for it. I just happen to have the electric
piano thing covered
to my satisfaction so this is all about the organ for me.
