It’s a arrow at mine that shows where the signal goes. The phones knob is
beside the main. If u don’t hit the main mix button the signal will only go
to control/headphones.

I use the alt 3-4 to get only headphone at some channels. Then I can hit the

I also think the mixer is a bit strange at that part.. :-)

Anybody have any insight (or a link to the manual) on the Mackie 1202 mixer?
I seem to have a hard time understand the signal path on this thing. I'm
mic'ing my 2101 into channel 1, putting the rotary mono into channel 2, my
Motif into stereo channel 7, running the XLR out to mains, the Aux 1 & 2 as
stereo left and right to my Yorkville, and the headphone out for in ears.

Between the mute, AR 3&4 buttons and solo buttons on every channel, the
assignment button for control room out, I'm having a real difficult time
duplicating the signal where I want it duplicated; sometimes the Main out
Leds don't light at all, other times only the right side lights, I can't get
signal through the earbuds....then I'll hit some button (damn if I know the
combination of buttons) and I'll get it working.

I'd REALLY like to know what is going on with this board so that I could
predict what will come out where!

Thanks in advance for any insight.
