No, it works like the Hammond. Obviously you want the presets you want to trill with in the same bank; this will void the need for bank switching.

In one of our songs I have a preset 080000000008 with C3 chorus that I use for the bridge, and on the last bar of the bridge I switch to 88880000008 no chorus, and I use the black preset keys for this. And yes, there is a momentary drop in sound.

Doesn't look like you can do it on the xk3 based on what I read in
the manual. Looks like you need to hold down that bank key and hit
one of the reverse keys to kick in a preset.
