Subject:Re: How about a pair of SRM 350s?

I was thinking about trying a pair of SRM 350s as an alternative to a
single SRM 450. I know the SRM350s will put out enough volume for my
application, but the question is will they lack the sound quality of
the SRM450s?

David,

We recently bought three 350's as floor wedges for our band. I use a
pair of 450's for monitoring my keyboards: clonewheel, electronic piano
and synthesizer. They sound very similar, I would say natural. We also
tried Shark monitors and they sounded quiet different, more in your
face. The only "drawbacks" of the 350's are less volume and less bass.
For me, the bass notes are the reason why I use the 450's as monitors.
