Well, a lot of what's out there are organ (&keyboard players) with a band or the guy that plays LH bass for a trio and some other stuff with RH when the gitar or horn isn't soloing.

Nah, but it's a good sound. Good enough that one of the local Jazz stations has a lot of Hammond.

Go back aways and we had solo organ as by Eddie Baxter, George Wright , Jackie Davis and others.

Jack McDuff is a perenniial favorite of mine.

Reese Wynans always did an excellent job with Stevie Ray Vaughn. His backing for Stevie on the tune Riviera Paradise is one of my all time favorites. I'm suppose he's with some good blues band doing an excellent job somewhere now!
