No longer made.

Thanks for the info. Invisible stand? Made by who?

No, this is very secure. As long as your front adjustor (at the bottom) is tight and set correctly, it's real secure. I only secured the top #3 keyboard because I pitched it at an angle, which is not the "traditional" method. I sold most of mine, but still have one. I just wanted a different, cleaner look onstage so switched to the Invisible stands.

Tony,
Just ran into a situation where my StandTastic stand was too large of a foot print. What a pain that was. The bass player kept tripping over the front supports, damn near killed himself a few times and jerked my rig around several times too, besides that fact he was getting mad!
As to the APEX stand you used, in looking at the pictures of it, it seems like it would be not very secure from side to side and that the keyboard supports are too close to the center of the keyboards and would be better if they were spread out more. I trust you endorsement, but did you notice any of these problems, and did you have to clamp or secure your lower two keyboards in any way to stop them from tipping side to side?

The APEX is rock solid. I used to use it to hold 2 and 3 keyboards. I used a Korg BX3 on the bottom with super clamp and super tribars, then above that a Roland A90. If I used a third, I would use a JD800 or JV1000 perched at the top of the column and tilted downwards onto a pair of the regular tribars with a rubber ring at the end from slipping down. I would also use velcro on the bottom of the top keyboard and at the top of the column. These were all deep keyboards, and all was well.

I'm using an Ultimate Support IQ-3000 X-stand with one tier holding a Motif ES 8 on the
bottom and a CX-3 on top. It's extraordinarily solid, but the tier is a hassle to setup. I
have an Apex that I use for my Nord Lead 3. I'm not comfortable putting the Motif and
CX-3 on that.
