Subject:Re: double tier stands
I have both the QuikLok and Standtastic. Both are OK, but the Standtasic is way better in my opinion. Very fast set-up and tear down, easy to carry in the case provided and also very strong. Mine holds a Hammond XK-3 on the lower section and a Yamaha p-90 on the upper. Also the Standtastic is more adjustable in the height levels. My QuikLok is an X style stand which sucks for foot space compared to the Standtastic model.

I'm thinking about getting a double tier stand (for Yamaha S08 and
Alesis QS7.1). The QuikLok 192 looks like a reliable piece of
hardware, and the price is reasonable, but the Standtastic 122 looks a
little more versatile as far as adjusting tier height and depth.
I believe I can trust QuikLok for a solid product. Anybody have any
pro or con comments about Standtastic stands?
