Ron,
Here is an answer Tony sent to someone in the Organ-ized group a
while back when asked a similar question:

This, Just received from Tony Monaco..........
Thomas,
Great questions!!!!!!!!! Well I did use a 122 xb and a Direct Line as
to recreate a fair comparison to how the XK can sound in a studio
session or live using a real Leslie. I was thinking of recording a
solo piece real soon just using the simulator and posting it as well
to answer your question fully!!!! It will definitely sound a little
different as up to now, I haven't found a simulator that simulates
moving air like the real spinning horn and rotor!!!
I like the simulator that's in the XK3, though! It sounded great at
the Cakewalk booth through speakers using just the XK3 and no Leslie
during NAMM!!!!!!!!!!
God Bless,
Tony

This was done pre- XK 'system', so he probably used a midi keyboard
for the lower manual (definately using 2 manuals!) I'd guess 95% LHB
with some pedals, I'd guess room ambiance and studio reverb...
Best,
Greg
