Subject:Expression Pedal Electronics FC7 etc.

I thought I'd post my request for help again.

I have a question for all the fine electronic minds out there: What value resistor does one need to put across the 1 and 3 terminals of a 50k pot to reduce it's range to 10K? I've seen example where this has been done with a network of resistors of all the same value in parallel, but what if I don't have space for five 50k resistors?
