Subject:Re: Electro Questions
As for seeing what the other manual is playing, yes: Next to the split button is the button "Upper/Lower." At least, I think that's what it's called! I've been using it for so long I don't remember.

Hello,
I just finished reading the online manual of the Nord Electro, and I
had a couple of question that were not covered. There are none in my area,
so I am unable to check out on in a music store.
1. If you use another keyboard as a controller keyboard for another
organ manual, is it possible to click a button and have the virtual drawbars
light up what is being played on that keyboard. And then toggle back an
immediately see with is being played on the electro, or do you basically
have to pre program the patch. I saw on the video for the new Nord Stage
that it was possible to do this, and it actually did seem like an advantage
of the "drawbuttons,"
2. Is there a way to send patch change information to an external
module. I see in the manual that you can use the buttons to program up to
47, but is there an easy way to send changes to 127, to control an external
module (I own an Kurzweil Micro Ensemble)?
My plan would be to use the to control sounds on the Micro Ensemble for
some strings and maybe the piano. And then use a Yamaha Motif, or S03 to as
the upper manual organ controller. Can anybody see any problems that I
might run into with this setup? Sometimes gear runs into some midi
"problems"
Any assistance that you could provide would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Mike
