Hi. It sounds like it's got the 16' drawbar foldback in the lower octave as
per the -3 series consoles from which it is derived...perfectly normal. B3
players get around the "problem" by augmenting the lh bass with pedals in
the particularly weak areas- G to B in the bottom octave. There are very few
VK-09's around and even fewer people who know anything about them and
virtually nothing on the web... as you have probably observed. Your best bet
would probably be to see if Roland still have the schematics and take them
to a tech in your area and see if you can route the pedal sounds to the
bottom two octaves of the lower manual.
