I found an auction on Ebay for a VK09--appears to be an older instrument - No MIDI! The bid is at $125 right now.

I'm not sure, but I believe the VK09 is an ancient Roland product that
was discontinued years ago. Interesting, tho, about the model numbers.

I couldn't find a VK09 at the Roland website. Anyone?
