Subject:Re: Registrations and settings for Korg CX3
Thanks Michael
So I am a Newbie! It's better than most things i've been called! I have picked up the 4 David Jaques settings which I will have a look at. No one has come up with the Site you mentioned - so if you do remeber it, let me know.
So far my ignorant fiddlings to emulate the Jon Lord style have been to use the Spoke in Japan setting and increase the amp gain and Overdrive, however this over distorts aty he top end and lacks the instant attack I was looking for. Blasphemy I know, but I am looking to get close to a sound on my Roland 1080 sound module called Purple Spin which is closer than my humble attempts but lacks the real time tweaking that the CX3 allows.
Any suggestions for Keith Emerson settings? Not that I can play that well!
Cheers Simon

Hi Simon!
Welcome on the list! Seems this time I´m the first to welcome the newbie
:-) *g*
There have been much discussions like this before. I own a Cx3 myself an
I also prefer the Lord style. I can recommend David Jaques Settings,
which should be found in the archives... I remember a site with many
leslie settings for simulating the different models... Don´t have the
adress right now, I´m sorry. But I´m shure some of the other fellows
here has it.
Have a good time on the list!
greetings
Michael
