Martin, I forgot to mention that recent mods to the Leslie include
a beefier power supply. Now I can fully realize the 120W bridged
mono output power from the MOSFET power amp which was limited in the
original design by how much power the original power supply was able
to put out. (this is a LOUD and CLEAN 145 but using the tube drive
and volume on the B4 I can get it quite gritty if I want to)

I've also changed the audio channel between the foot pedal and the
cabinet to be a balanced line via XLR input. The balanced line is
taken to within 3 inches of the power amp where an XLR balanced to
1/4" unbalanced transformer converts back. I did this to eliminate a
source of hum, in part related to running an unbalanced line through
20 feet of cable, albeit with individually shielded pairs, but
alongside the 120vac switch controls for speed and brakes and 120vac
indicator lamps. The other reason is that the audio in the cabinet
ran right past the lower motor stack and seemed to pick up a little
hum from there. Now the thing is very quiet.
