You can find the music of both Joes (Joe Krown and Joe Gros) at www.louisianamusicfactory. They have a fantastic supply of cajun, funk, blues, r&b, and soul stuff. (I also bought a mint vinyl copy of Ray Charles "The Genius After Dark" there too.) It's a great place to browse if you get to Nawlins, and they have a great website as well. They also sell dvds you can't get anywhere else either of those same musics.

WOuld that be Walter "Wolfman: Washington? He used to play up here in PA a few times a year. If that was him I hope they had the drummer that was in Wolfman's band with them. Never got to find out his name but he was the second funkiest drummer, after the Meter's Zig Modelieste, that I heard in my life. I would go to see them just to watch the drummer play. Anyway, we will all need to check out the online services to see if Joe has cds that the general public can find. Thanks for the review Tony.
