That's not the case (so much) in the organ biz. Demo
units or floor models of organs are not very effective
"selling tactics" in that organs have to be opened and
on the floor to be sold. Of course, sales people will
say whatever to get it sold. There are other "sales
tactics" that are more effective for organs (and
pianos).

This company is offering the HS Warranty to the
purchaser per their post on Ebay. If they are offering
the manufacturer's warranty, it is being sold as new -
demo or not. The word "demo" just lessens the blow
slightly to the manufacturer. But it is still new -
having never been sold. The only thing that can't be
done is for another dealer (HS or not) to purchase
this unit and then offer the warranty which is
non-transferrable to their customer. The warranty can
only go to the purchaser - not to another dealer's
buyer.

The dealer offering this item obviously doesn't care
about being an HS dealer any longer. This is the kind
of thing that HS needs to control. Now, what will
happen to all the other dealers who have pricing of
$20,000 or more? Their credibility is gone. Ebay is
pervasive in the marketplace. The word is out now.
