Subject:Voce, V5 and V5 plus questions......
I have been trying to make some inquries regarding the Voce V5+ module. The
main thing I am wondering is how the split points work on a standard 5 octave
keyboard. On my current clone ( VK7) I have split point adjustability and I
can adjust each split section's drawbars individually. From what I understand
, the V5+ will run 2 keyboards plus pedals, but my major concern is being
able to do split function ( basically 2 octaves 808000000 bass split, 3 octaves
888000000 etc.upper manual split) on a single 5 octave controller.
I
am also curious as to the quality of overdrive and chorus vibrato- two
functions I found virtually useless on my old Micro B 2. Overdrive on the Micro B
2 sounded like a nomal tone with some fuzz mixed in....on the other hand a
VK7 is one of the best for overdrive effect. And I am curious if they nailed
the chorus vib this time, as the Roland VK8 did. Most of the dealers either
don't know or don't have time to address these issues, and Voce itself gives
about 1 page max of info on their website - par for the course from most clone
manufacturers. I assume that the V5+ is very similar to the V5 which many of
you have owned. How flexible are the V5's and V5+ regarding split function?
