Anybody here have any experience with these? I'm especially interested in
the powered version ( PA5X140 or P.A. III ). I've heard
them in music stores but never heard one cranked in a loud bar setting.
Some of the stages we're forced to play on are so small
that even a JBL EON at my feet is still too cramped, and since I always rely
on the main P.A. to get my sound out front I wondered
if these wouldn't be a decent alternative if all I really need to do is
monitor my own playing. Another potential bonus, even
though I send a stereo signal to the mains I often only get to hear myself
in mono, but with a pair of these it looks like a
lightweight solution to enjoy the same stereo mix the audience is getting.
