Dave, the Speakeasy likes a pretty hot signal so I run my V at about 12 0'clock. I set the front volumes on full and back panel volumes at 12 o'clock. Works for my setup. (JBL Eon's in stereo) Always best to call Steve at Speakeasy as he is the creator of this wonderful device! There is a new Yahoo group call vk_corral which is VK8, VK7 , VK8M and V-Combo guys. Small but informative bunch. Check it out.

Subject: [CWSG] Help with control levels
Hi all: I recently purchased a new speakeasy classic preamp to go between my VR 760 (Vcombo) and my Roland KC500 amp. My VR has a master volume + an individual organ volume. The speakeasy has volume treble and bass controls on the front (input) and gain controls on the back (output). The KC500 has a master volume and an individual channel volume. I am running the VR760 in mono. I am overwhelmed by all the volume controls and I am sure some of you have found that certain links in this chain are best set at certain volume levels. I would appreciate any feedback anyone can share. TIA
Dave Lemmon
