I'm using a VK-7 and love it! Around LA's blues clubs, several keyboard
players use them. I solved my Leslie effects problem by plugging into (via a TREK
II) a Leslie 45. I've used it with the diffuser cones on the rotary horns and
off. Either way it sounds great. I'd recommend getting either a Leslie 44W, 45
or 145 before investing in a simulator - unless you're recording directly to a
hard drive.
