Hello,
My name is Billy and I'm a Cloner... XB-2 Midied to a Kurz/pc-88
My system is; the XB-2 line out into a Alembic F1-X bass
preamp, full bandwidth out into a Motion Sound Pro-3. I have two sm
57's goosenecked on the sides pointed into the grills. Two lines out
of the MS/pro-3 lower bin simulator. So it's for lines in stereo
pairs into a Mackie board. The Mackie outs into a pair of Barbetta
SE32-c's. They are active bi-amped cabinets at 450watts RMS each.
I believe the F1-X pre is the preamp Circuitry from the old
Fender Bandmaster leased to Alembic. It's a real sweet tube sound. I
have the XB-2 at 1/4 V, the F1-X at 3/4 V, and the MS/pro-3 at 1/3
V. Mackie ballances out the top and bottom. I make adjustments for
the room and let her scream.
