Some people have complained of sluggish timing w/ S80,S90 when doing
a big layer in performance mode with sounds from 1 or 2 expansion
boards combined with onboard voices. I really haven't noticed this
with my S80/AN/DX but I usually don't do huge layers because it eats
up poly rapidly. IMO, S90 is a wonderful board, and I almost traded
in my S80. If Nord were to shoehorn a NL3 into the Electro 73, I'd
hock the farm to buy one.
