Norman, it was a magnificent beast. It ruined me for other synthesizers...I hated most other synths compared to that machine. Too bad $5k was out of the question!

I guess everyone forgets that at one time THEY were the offensive "non-musicians" playing on the keyboards.

I know I must have made the keyboard manager at Just Music (which turned into the first Guitar Center here eons ago) nuts....every Saturday I'd get on a bus to go to the store and play with their CS80....LOUD! I think the only thing that kept him from kicking me out was I kept playing parts from Trick of the Tail (Genesis) and Danger Money (U.K.)!
