Subject:Re: LESLIE 2101 - Manual???
Hey,
Yeah! The MOD WHEEL controls everything in between, slow/medslow/medium/medfast/fast/faster/AND SCREAMIN!
I don't have a 11pin Leslie cable yet, on order, so I don't think I'm hearing the whole picture yet? Specifically I tried to go out from the Leslie 2101 into a bass amp (until I can afford the Leslie stationary) and I can't hear anything. The Leslie 2101 has a seperate out from the ROTARY HORNS into another amp via standard 1/4" jack. It doesn't have stereo IN however, so I am just going mono IN from the XK-3. I believe the 11 pin splits the levels of sound to it's specific output. (PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG) So you can send Pedal notes and Keys to appropriate Speakers.
Regarding the expression pedal, . . . it controls the volume and leslie on/off, it's the mod wheel that does the magic.

Hey Bill...congrats!
Question: when you say mod wheel controls speed, does it only do fast and slow, or does the mod wheel set a variety of "in between" speeds?
Do you have the EXP100F pedal too so you can just kick fast and slow with your toe?

I just bought a Leslie 2101, . . . WOW!!! I am using it with a XK-3.
I bought the 2101 as a BLEM model, but there is nothing wrong with it
that I can tell except a green paint smudge on it's side! Musician's
Friend took $150 off for a paint smudge! HA!
It also didn't come with a manual. Has anybody seen a manual for
this? The back has a lot of features and not to sure about all of
them.
The best thing about this Lesie 2101 is that the MIDI OUT from the XK-
3 controls the ROTOR SPEED with the MOD WHEEL!!! YAHOOOOOO!!!
I'd appreciate any input, THANKS!!!
Bill
