Someone mentioned the mess of sounds of a Saturday at
the music store.

I had a band that performed a little number called
"Saturday at the Music Store." We would go around and
individually play our separate parts for the audience.
The guitar player would play the riff from "Funk 49."
I would play the head of "Green Onions." The drummer
would play the signature pattern from "50 Ways To
Leave Your Lover", and the bass player would play the
Barney Miller theme song.

Then, I'd say, "Stand in the middle of the store...and
it sounds like this. One, two three..." and we'd all
play our parts at the same time.

It was a crowd pleaser!
