Subject:Re: XK3 fever

I could very well have this wrong, but my recollection is that the first
rev of the CX3 firmware used the initial switch on the keyboard. There are
two switches on most modern keyboards so that the time between them closing
is used to approximate a velocity value between 1 and 127.

The more recent CX3 firmware allowed you to use the second switch, which
has a "heavier" feel. The first trigger was too light for a lot of people.
I really liked it.

So, if HS is using a similar switching keyboard and they use the first
switch, they could make this an option.
