That gives me some hope that HS might sometime address the
shallow-trigger problem in an upcoming software update -- provided, of
course, the XK-3 would in principle allow for the key depth to be
adjusted via a change in the software (like for the CX-3).

I've sent an email to HS and asked them about it.
