Subject:FBT MaxX4a power cabs


There's a pair of FBT MaxX4a's on eBay if anyone might want to take a
look.

These are designed/manufactured in Italy and apparently quite popular
on the continent. The eBay price is out of line as they can be had
for way less at a few US online stores. At 300w/100w rms continuous
output (not peak) and 16kg = 35.2 lbs, the MaxX4a's are very
impressive. Web-surfing with several search strings, I found them
often A/B'd versus SRM-450's at least "as good as," more
often "better than".. and the Mackies weigh 51 lbs. From what I could
tell online, plus swapping emails with a couple of CWSG members that
are using them, I ordered a pair. We'll find out what's up with FBT.
