Subject:V5+

Dave, (or anybody who can answer the question),
Hopefully this question makes sense!! Purchasing one V5+ is not a
massive investment, but purchasing 2 starts to be a little bit pricey
I currently use 2 V5 organ modules in my live set up. I am definitely not
a dedicated organ player, so I like the easy ability to play different
sounds on either keyboard.
My question: Is there a way to just purchase one V5+, and midi my "old"
V5 to it to act as a controller? This way I can have the "improved sound"
on both units. I don't really want to have the situation where the two
units don't exactly match. I have tried this with my 2 V5s and haven't had
success, although this isn't a great surprise as I am usually not too
patient with MIDI stuff. All that I have been able to do so far is to
trigger one V5 with the other as far as sound goes, but the lower drawbars
have no effect on the other module.
I would want the drawbars and sound to just be triggered by the keyboard
that I am playing, So it functions the same as my 2 V5's do now only being
hooked up to one keyboard.
This is maybe too much to ask, since units cannot be designed for each
and every use. I was just looking to improve upon an already awesome unit.
Thanks,
Mike
