Yes Scott,
The *original* topic started with your likes. But as it happens, I was
in search of "scientific" stuff, which criteria *was* posted, just not
by you.
I in no wise disparage your reasons for your likes or dislikes, quite
the contrary. Just got my ears perked up when someone sorta hinted at
objectivity, thassall. As you've made no secret about total disinterest
in such, I'm certainly not gonna ask you to back anything up. No
problemo. Left-brain; right-brain.

There ARE data that can be known about these units, were someone so
inclined to collect and analyze such, that could explain "shrillness",
"artifacts", and even "realism" -- words that get used quite often,
hereabouts. Had someone done anything like that, I'd be interested in
knowing more.

But what makes me really mad is you corrupt cherry vanillians are
obviously out to sabotage us pistachioalians with your pro-preference
rhetoric :-)

Larry,
On the original topic of this discussion, I said that I like the
XK-
3 better than the V5. When it comes to likes and dislikes, there
can
be no "information." I like cherry vanilla ice cream better than
I
do strawberry. It would be absurd if anyone asked me to "back
that
up."

Last month or so, the moderator asked the members of this list
to
respect each others' preferences. I'm with him.
