Subject:Re: Hammond XK-3/V5 shootout
Nobody said you were a blowhard Scott; the fact that you took it that way makes me think I was wrong in my assumption. I tried to differentiate between blowhard and casual expert; I assumed you were the latter. I definitely consider myself to be in the latter category, but I'm sure some would disagree with that. You obviously have a lot of information at your disposal and the wherewithal to put it into practice. You have presented yourself (not falsely I believe either) to be an intelligent human being, certainly in all things Hammond. To hear you say "I dont have to back up anything I say here" just renders all you HAVE said here to be the rantings of....well...you said it, I didn't. The point that differentiates a blowhard from a casual expert I will reiterate again: information and an informed opinion. Everyone has an opinion; hopefully everyone has information to back it up. Keep in mind that science is nothing more than informed opinions; those "truths" we accept as
"law" are only hypothesis that haven't been disproved...yet.
Sheeesh...
