Subject:Re: How do you turn "OFF" the leslie sim on XK-2?

I know that sounded like an incredibly dumb question but then I've never played one or even seen a XK-2. Another local musician has one he might be willing to part with but it comes with a 147 as part of the package. I guess I should grab it up if the price is right. Would be nice to have the 147 but I would run it through a KBR-3D for small club jobs. I was pretty sure I remembered reading that plugging into the 11-pin shuts off the onboard sim but I wasn't sure how to shut it off when using the 1/4" outs. So, it's the old On/Off switch, eh? Those sly devils!

There's the little button on the left block that says leslie on....turn that so that it's off.

First, I apologize for this most basic question.
With a bit of research I could find the answer for myself.
Probably a hundred posts in the archives on this.
But I don't have the time.
Gotta run. Family committments ya know.
But my friend is coming over later and I told him I would find out.
So just like in high school I'm asking someone else to do my
homework for me. What a slacker, eh?

What I need to know is how to turn off the onboard leslie sim on the
XK-2 so it can be run through a MS amp or a real Leslie?

Thank you,
Jake
