they've just started to take orders for the d3m single 61 key waterfall controller
but has no drawbars.. it's about $394 till the end of December. After that it
goes up another $100. not sure if the doepfer controller will allow the
drawbars to work on the Elka but you can ask them. you may try another keyboard
midi out to the elka to see if this works before springing for a waterfall
controller.
That's good advice!
Basically the potential is there for the drawbars not to work on another midied keyboard if they are not capable of generating midi signals of their positions that would cause the desired change in levels in a midied other keyboard.
WaddIsay? That someting like that can possibly be designed but most probably are not your average keyboard even if it has controllers on it. IMO.
OTOH since you cab bend a midied voice either at the original sending or recieving keyboard- who knows? However the bend is available in the operating system of both.
Other than that- there are plenty of instance of using the midi out to let the keyboard you want to be playing on produce sound from another sources midi in.
