Subject:RE: Brian oy Tony?

Salute,

I only have TMs DVD, currently, but ordered BA a few days ago and wait for
it to arrive. My background is the classical piano, with a bit of theory (my
teacher was a church organ player, no hammond, so I practice the theory on
standard church songs - that.s 15+ years ago, though).

I like Tony Monacos CD very much, but in my view, in part 1 it.s very basic
(which I need) and part 2 is mostly watch him play (without major
explanation, which is quite beyond of what I can grasp as being told to play
what good old Mozart, Bach oder Beethoven tell you to do).

Since you mentioned Dave Limina as being basic (though I have a CD and a
book by DL and not a DVD): you will probably like TM second part where you
see him play, and pick up things from there.

Dunno if that helps you. Might be able to tell you more once the Brain Auger
CD has arrived - should be mid next week, I hope

Best, Harold
