I assume you're saying he didn't use the ring modulator correctly.
When I went to the link you sent me, they said the Mofooger can be
used for effects and overdrive. I would think it depends on how you
set it up, whether for overdrive or wild effects. I'm sure there is
a difference between the ring modulator that is in the Nord and the
Gibson Maestro. I believe the Mofooger would be close because it's
also analog like the Maestro.
