FWIW, years ago I had a Spin (the first one, 1/2 rack unit) and I remember it being fairly noisy. I also used a dbx 166XL to keep
the noise out of the mix when I wasn't playing. The Leslie sim function was pretty good though, especially for the time. It was
MIDI and had some very usable presets. I never could figure out why Voce dropped the first Spin for the Spin II which had less
features and flexibility.
