Subject:What kind of mics are internal to the MS145??
I noted long ago the horrid tone at any volume and uselessness of
Kobitone dynamic mics for the Pro3T horn unit. I informed MS' John
Fisher of this via email and he told me I was mistaken. I am not
mistaken. They, uh, suck. They cost all of $4.00. And their low-
freq (below 400 cycle) response is so minimal they should never be
used to mic the low-freq cab portion of any Motion Sound enclosure.
Now I see that Josiah states that the mics internal to the MS145 are
useless.
Does anyone know what mics the 145 uses?

[a 120 modified to be a 122]). Basically, the MS Pro-145 is a great
sounding almost Leslie. For live playing in a band with a bass player
it works great (although not as sweet or as dirty as a leslie - but
in a live band situation it is hard to hear the difference). If it is
not loud enough, mike it (use Shure 57s or the like - don't use the
internal mikes as they are basically useless).
